Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role as a Pega PRPC Developer.
- Experience in designing and implementing applications & solutions with Pega PRPC and allied Pega PRPC Insurance frameworks (mandatory).
- A PEGA Lead System Architect certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge in domains such as Insurance, Banking and Financial Services, Energy & Utilities.
- Experience working in an international and multicultural setting.
- Technical understanding of interface/integration technologies and deep understanding of customer needs to transform them into project design & implementation.
- Agile/Scrum project implementation experience is mandatory.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving ability with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to guide technical teams of system architects and mentor team members.
- Understanding of current enterprise-wide technologies including Open Source, web application development, and databases (DB/2, Oracle, SQL).
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise class structures, data, and application framework models.
- Ensure the best possible designs (performance, scalability) of Pega PRPC applications/solutions compliant with best practices, coding standards, guardrails, UI standards, and corporate standards.
- Lead the technical team independently from inception to transition.
- Interact with business users, LBA, or BA whenever required.
- Adhere to Pegasystems development guardrails and original design principles.
- Access Pegasystems centralized support infrastructure, including the "expert design clinic" and centralized Global Solutions Library on behalf of the customer.
- Ensure Pega PRPC applications/solutions are scalable and robust.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure project deliverables and client business objectives are met.
