Lead IT Architect - Platinion - Insurance

We expect you to have 10 to 15 years of experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery, or technology consulting. Prior IT consulting experience is essential, along with management experience. Experience working in the Insurance domain with familiarity in one or multiple Insurance solutions is highly desirable, though we will also consider candidates from other domains who are eager to learn and develop their skills within the Insurance sector. You should possess strong technical expertise in Data and Cloud technologies, an overview of common development methods and tools, as well as DevOps practices and Continuous Improvement. Your ability to balance dogmatism and pragmatism to guide decision-making is crucial, along with articulating trade-offs and making high-impact technology decisions across various relevant topics. Knowledge and experience in managing Architectural debt, Architecture governance, and microservices topologies are required. You should understand legacy integration and remediation approaches, along with having a deep understanding of different integration patterns and best practices. The ability to work under pressure and a willingness to travel to clients worldwide are also important. A university degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration is necessary. For candidates based in London, fluency in English is required. For those in the Netherlands, fluency in English is necessary, with Dutch as a highly desirable language. Candidates located in Belgium should be fluent in English, with additional proficiency in French or Flemish.
