Vereisten:
- Master of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical area, or commensurate experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineer role.
- Experience building and optimizing Azure data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable Azure data stores.
- Experience with Azure Tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Event Hub.
- Experience with Big Data Tools: Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Kudu, Impala, Kafka.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, including Azure Cosmos, HBase, and Cassandra.
- Experience with stream-processing systems: Spark-Streaming, Storm, Event Hub, Kafka.
- Experience with object-oriented/function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, Shell Scripting.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with experience working on complex Azure/Cloud/Big Data projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Self-assured and capable of convincing people.
- Strong communicator in English with strong presentation skills.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design solutions independently based on high-level architecture.
- Implement data loading from disparate data sets, preprocessing using Azure/Cloud Tools.
- Work with customers in gathering business requirements for data pipeline/lake/migration needs.
- Collaborate across multiple functional projects to understand data usage.
- Develop best practices, processes, and standards.
- Collaborate with other development and research teams.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
