Vereisten:
- A degree in Computer Science (or similar) or 3 years of experience
- Strong backend development skills (Java and/or Python)
- Experience with API design and distributed systems
- Experience with data streaming or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and system reliability
- Experience with databases (relational and/or time-series)
- A mindset focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Ability and willingness to collaborate across the stack, including front-end teams
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Nice to have: Exposure to front-end development (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Nice to have: Experience with data-intensive applications or analytics platforms
- Nice to have: Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, NMEA)
- Nice to have: Interest in UX or data visualization
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Work on our streaming data platform (real-time data processing, ingestion, and distribution)
- Ensure systems are reliable, observable, and performant
- Contribute to data modeling, database design, and architecture decisions
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver seamless end-to-end features
- Set up and improve monitoring, logging, and data quality checks
- Take ownership from development to deployment and production operations
- Continuously improve systems through experimentation and innovation
