IT Operations & Solutions Specialist

In this part-time role (24 hours per week), you will be responsible for providing IT support and solutions to business users, with the intention to transition to a full-time position. This hands-on role involves acting as the main point of contact for IT questions, managing IT systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will work closely with internal technical teams and business users to ensure smooth operations and efficient problem resolution. This role requires someone communicative, analytical, and technical, capable of taking ownership of IT processes and driving solutions forward. As you grow in this role, your responsibilities will expand to independently analyzing, improving, and implementing IT solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the systems and processes. For this role, candidates must be located in the Rotterdam area and have a valid work permit to work in the Netherlands. This position will begin with a few days per week, with the intention and opportunity to expand hours over time. In this role, you will work where business and IT come together, contributing to a company that exists to serve the public interest by supporting, instigating, and performing scientific research. Their focus is on the development of instruments that describe and value health outside the for-profit model.
