Senior QA Engineer - Mobile

In this role, I expect you to act as a Quality Guarder in the product team responsible for the TomTom Automotive Navigation Experience. You will provide guidance and coaching on all aspects of our quality process to ensure the right mindset throughout the team. Leveraging your QA experience, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing of our software across different platforms, ensuring smooth production software releases from the mainline. Utilizing your expertise in test automation, you will enable efficient and reliable regression testing or daily smoke testing. You will engage with our cross-functional teams to define test strategies, plans, and cases that align with product goals and requirements. It will also be your responsibility to identify, report, track, and learn from defects, ensuring they are properly addressed to prevent future occurrences. I encourage you to pro-actively collaborate with our Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to foster a quality culture throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). As a metrics-driven individual, you will help the team better understand areas needing improvement and recommend actionable plans. Maintaining a full commitment to quality and upholding stringent standards will be essential. You will also focus on user experience while conducting actual drive scenarios on the roads and stay at the forefront of testing best practices to drive continuous improvements in our QA processes.
