Senior Systems Engineer - Infrastructure Operations

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure lead engineering or a similar role. - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered. - Proficiency in IT infrastructure and systems, with a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, network management, and automation processes. - Strong leadership and team-supporting abilities, with experience in professionalizing and guiding teams. - Experience with IT Architecture methodologies (TOGAF and Archimate) and a willingness to work closely with the IT Architecture department. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve IT issues. - Good command of the Dutch and English languages (written and verbal). - Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally and work abroad. - Hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and support of complex IT systems and infrastructure is preferred in different areas of expertise, including: - Hypervisor solutions from VMWare and/or Nutanix and/or Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager - Microsoft Active Directory environments both on-premises and online (Azure AD) - Identity Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, and federation (e.g., ADFS) - PKI setup and Certificate Management - Key Management Systems (KMS) - Hardware Security Modules (HSM) - Observability product suites (e.g., LanSweeper) - Military-grade encryption solutions - External Datacenter and Hosting service suppliers - Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process. - Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
