Vereisten:
- A strong software and/or data engineering background and preferably a Master in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in working as a Data engineer or Cloud engineer, preferably in a highly complex environment like ASML
- Knowledge of architectural frameworks i.e. Togaf, modelling tools like Archimate
- 2 years (hands-on) experience in designing and building both batch and streaming architectures
- Data modelling experience on non-business process data domains (e.g. IoT, machine data)
- Hands-on experience with cloud native services like Databricks, Azure Data Factory
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes/AKS and Docker, Python & PySpark (4 years)
- Deep knowledge of spark runtime internals
- SQL background with understanding of OLAP/BI querying patterns and practical knowledge in creating these solutions
- Experience with storage formats such as parquet and delta lake
- Experience working with Agile Release trains, GIT, & API development is desirable
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design, build and provide technical support for analytics solutions built on MS Azure and Databricks
- Align with stakeholders, architects, and team members on design challenges and choices to address business requirements
- Capture the dynamic refinement of business priorities and translate them into data and analytics user stories
- Build data pipelines and datasets in Databricks
- Clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving under pressure
- Manage expectations across teams and navigate a complex work environment
