Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or comparable
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor or at least 3 years of experience with a Master in System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or comparable
- Experience with design verification within the medical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an R&D environment or research setting
- In-depth knowledge of medical regulations and quality standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC)
- Experience with Design Control
- Experience with test method development, MSA/test method validation and statistical techniques
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Experience with Windchill and Minitab is a plus
Responsibilities
- Establishing and implementing a robust hardware and system verification strategy
- Ensuring complete requirement coverage without overlap or gaps
- Actively contributing to system architecture and design choices at the front end of the development process
- Leading verification work packages and monitoring planning and progress
- Analyzing and resolving design defects (root cause analysis & corrective actions)
- Ensuring high-quality verification evidence in accordance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC, FDA)
- Contributing to risk management and design reviews
- Optimizing verification processes and testing methodologies
- Coaching engineers within testing and verification processes
- Managing stakeholders within R&D, Quality, and Project Management
