Requirements

Must:
We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and quality assurance testing. You should have demonstrable experience in manual testing and test automation, along with proficiency in testing tools such as Appium and Playwright. Proficiency in C# is a plus. You should also be familiar with JSON, XML, HTML, GitLab, and Browser Debugging. Familiarity with payment structures and protocols is highly advantageous. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies is essential. You must have the ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for quality are important traits we seek. Additionally, you should reside within a 30-minute radius of our Rotterdam office and have the right to work in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

As an Automation Engineer / Quality Assurance Tester at WTSS in the Solution Delivery department, you play a crucial role in our technological service delivery. Your responsibilities include: 1. Requirement Analysis: Understand project requirements and technical specifications to create effective test plans. Collaborate with clients, WTSS developers, and service delivery managers to clarify functionalities. 2. Test Case Design and Development: Write detailed test cases and scripts that cover various scenarios (positive, negative, edge cases). Prepare, set up, and configure test environments and infrastructures. 3. Manual Testing: Perform hands-on testing of the digital banking application, checking for bugs, functionality, and design compliance. Test user interfaces, workflows, and compatibility across devices and browsers. 4. Automation Testing: Use the WTSS Diagnostics Platform to script automated tests and configure alerting, dashboarding, and reporting. Create and maintain scripts to test performance and regression scenarios. 5. Defect Reporting: Document issues clearly and concisely, sharing them with customers. Work with clients to replicate issues and verify if changes have their desired effect. 6. User Experience Testing: Occasionally, we are asked by clients to provide feedback on user experience, so you will test for intuitiveness and user-friendliness, providing feedback on usability and design. Ensure accessibility and inclusive design of banking applications. 7. Documentation: Maintain detailed reports on test progress, defect status, and test coverage. Provide recommendations for improvements based on testing results.
