Must:
We are looking for a technically savvy engineer with experience in system development within a complex, multidisciplinary environment. You should have the following qualifications:
- Completed college or university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering.
- Experience with system specifications, architecture development, and requirements management.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as SysML, IBM Rhapsody, or similar is a plus.
- Knowledge of defense-related technologies (such as sensors, navigation, data links) is desired.
- Experience with security investigations (FTA/FMEA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with aviation or defense standards is an advantage.
Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, specifying, and validating technical requirements and solutions at the system, component, and software/hardware level. Your primary tasks will include:
- Analyzing and translating technical requirements into system and component definitions.
- Developing architectures, performing technical trade-offs, and defining solutions.
- Creating specifications and validation criteria for systems and components.
- Developing validation plans and demonstrating compliance through analysis, simulation, and/or testing.
- Developing verification methods and test protocols, including interpretation of test data.
- Preparing and presenting reports and technical documentation.
- Guiding the transition from development hardware to series production, including robustness testing and certification.
- Collaborating with engineers, domain experts, and international partners.
