Engineer Combat Systems

As an Engineer Combat Systems at Damen Naval, you will support technical activities related to the design, installation, verification, maintenance, and refits of Combat Systems for Naval vessels. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing and revising basic and detailed Combat Systems packages for existing and/or new products based on relevant information and specifications. - Implementing improvements for the basic and/or detailed Combat Systems packages and, where needed, informing, discussing with, and advising the team lead, technical lead, technical specialists, and relevant internal and external stakeholders. - Understanding the execution and synchronization of project activities related to all deliverables and obligations of the Subcontractor(s). - Supporting the subcontractors & suppliers' contributions to the project(s) during preparation and execution. - Assisting the technical subcontract manager Combat Systems in defining, establishing, and validating (the testing of) functional and physical interfaces. - Ensuring full compliance with all applicable requirements and specifications. - Supporting the Proposal Department and the engineering and production group by delivering quality engineering products. - Participating during contractual milestones, tests, and trials, such as FAT, HAT, and SAT as the accepting party. - Assisting the warranty authority on all warranty issues that have been identified. - Regularly visiting the Vlissingen office.
