Senior Network Engineer (Fortinet)

We at Viterra are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Network Engineer within our Infrastructure team. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the IT infrastructure and networks within the EMEA region and regional datacenters. We ensure the stability, integrity, security, continuity, and efficient operation of the company corporate networks. This is achieved by designing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, improving, and optimizing related services. We apply proven technical, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. Our aim is to fully integrate with candidates who already live and work in the Netherlands, adhering to our policy of working at the office HQ in Rotterdam three days a week. Personal competences: - Highly customer-oriented approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and empathy - Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment - Consistently demonstrate a pro-active way of working - Strong organizational and time-management skills, self-managed and very structured - Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - Attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in work delivery and documentation - Have a critical look at risk assessments for security purposes and changes - Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences Next skills, experience, and certifications that would be a plus: - Fortinet NSE4 and NSE5 certification - Experience in working with F5 products, including Load Balancers - Experience with Ansible, Python, or other network automation tooling - Understanding of AWS services and architectures - Experience with OT networks, knowledge of OT concepts
