Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Messaging Engineer (on-prem/Cloud)
- Solid foundation in Microsoft Exchange, M365, and email security, including Exchange Online, Teams, and hybrid environments
- Knowledge and understanding of DNS & email routing, monitoring and troubleshooting, PowerShell scripting, Exchange Hybrid Configuration, and email security best practices (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Experience in supporting email clients (Outlook)
- Experience with migration from on-prem to cloud is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
- Good documentation & reporting skills, including documenting configurations, troubleshooting steps, and changes for audits
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good communication skills, interacting with users, admins, and management on an engineering level
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the Email environment (Exchange and Email Security)
- Manage Exchange environments and the global secure email gateway by patching, monitoring, securing, and optimizing Exchange & ProofPoint
- Resolve 2nd line user issues and requests
- Liaise with the security group on vulnerabilities and other security risks in the environment
- Prepare and implement changes in the IT landscape
- Help maintain and manage both on-prem and online Exchange environments
- Participate in projects within set frameworks and work according to standard methodologies and tools
