Requirements
Must:
- Strong Python skills and a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using SQL and/or PySpark.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, and Airflow.
- Ability to organise your own work, deliver results independently, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Exposure to containerised environments, Kubernetes or Infrastructure as Code concepts is considered a plus.
- Professionally proficient in English.
- Background in a relevant field, preferably with a completed HBO degree.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for a wide variety of data sources across the organisation.
- Create reliable, reusable datasets in line with data architecture guidelines and data engineering standards.
- Safeguard the reliability of data platforms by monitoring data flows, resolving incidents, and continuously improving data processes.
- Document data pipelines and data models to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ease of maintenance.
- Validate datasets and data pipelines to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data used for analytics and decision-making.
