Must:
We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in software development. You should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and RESTful API design, along with solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails and JSON structures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, and experience providing technical support or assisting with integrations is a plus. Familiarity with e-invoicing concepts and compliance frameworks is highly desirable. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Additionally, experience with Java or Kafka would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to develop, test, and maintain API applications using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Diagnosing and resolving performance issues and bugs will be part of your tasks. You will provide technical support for clients during API integration and configuration and troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to API usage and data exchange. Working with JSON-based data formats and e-invoicing standards (e.g., Peppol, UBL, EN16931) will be necessary. Clear communication of technical solutions to both technical and non-technical users is a must. Documenting recurring issues and sharing insights with the product team for long-term improvements will also be your responsibility. Staying up to date with industry trends and contributing to code reviews and process improvements will be crucial.
