Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience building complex backend or data-driven systems
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel)
- Strong coding skills, but also a good sense for working together with team members
- Naturally stays up to date with the latest tech trends and loves to experiment with new tools and ideas, no push needed
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Available to work at least 3 days per week from our office in the Netherlands (Leeuwarden or Deventer)
Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical challenges
- Dive deep into backend architecture and real-time data processing systems
- Design scalable solutions that power our APIs and tools
- Optimize performance and design future-proof infrastructure
- Play a key role in professionalizing the development team
- Help shape priorities, review code, and improve processes
- Collaborate closely with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure proper project delivery
