Requirements
Must:
- I hold a completed IT-related education or have several years of experience in Software Engineering (development).
- I have experience in designing data models, including SQL knowledge.
- I possess experience with application integration (API, ActiveMQ, Kafka, data lake, etc.).
- I am skilled in object-oriented programming languages, preferably JAVA and C#.
- I have experience with cloud services and CI/CD, preferably Azure DevOps and OpenShift.
- I am proficient in scripting languages (PL/SQL, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- I am willing to learn about the USoft development suite, which is our main development tool and is a low-code platform for developers.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Process Automation, I optimize event-driven business processes in airport operations with smart business rules and intelligent solutions. I collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and designers, to ensure successful product development and delivery. My main tasks include:
- Implementing business rules using the USoft development platform.
- Developing backend microservices and simple web portals with USoft.
- Building and maintaining test cases with an automated test suite.
- Utilizing Azure pipelines for CI/CD and the OpenShift environment for operating our services.
- Assisting the team in continuously improving our way of working.

I can expect a salary range of € 4621 to € 6433 gross per month (Schaal 11), the possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour workweek, and the choice of an iPhone 14 or Samsung Galaxy S22. Additionally, I will receive a 13th month bonus at year-end, among other employment terms.
The IT & Data organization is building the airport of the future with smart digital solutions, keeping the airport running smoothly and providing the best possible experience for travelers, customers, and employees.
