Requirements
Must:
As the Lead Engineer Core Integration, you will need the following qualifications and experiences:
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, ideally through a senior role in a platform team.
- A clear understanding of how to mentor and coach a team in a mission-critical environment.
- At least 4 years of experience with enterprise integration and ESBs.
- Proven experience with Camel Integration Framework and Java.
- Familiarity with Integration Patterns (Hoph & Wolff).
- Experience with container platforms (we use RedHat OpenShift in public and private cloud).
- Experience with Messaging (JMS, e.g. Artemis, Kafka).
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps & Argo CD).
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming airports into seamless, tech-driven hubs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Guiding and coaching the Core Integration engineers in the team.
- Setting technical standards and best practices for performance and scalability.
- Creating an optimal work climate where every team member can excel.
- Ensuring the team runs smoothly today and in the future by maintaining system and personnel availability.
- Seeking ways to improve the team's efficiency by aligning processes with the Enabling Technology outlook and Enterprise Integration strategy.
- Implementing guardrails to guide the team along the Enterprise Integration strategy and motivating innovation.
- Ensuring best practices for high quality code and creating a consistent, high-quality code base.
- Maximizing the usability of the team's work and increasing adoption by understanding business needs.
- Collaborating with peers, leads, architects, and other relevant stakeholders for collective success.
Description

- A salary ranging from €4,744 to €6,582 (scale 12).
- An 8.33% fixed allowance at the end of the year.
