Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years in software development within product-led companies.
- Comfortable across the stack, including Infrastructure-as-Code and serverless architectures, and frontend.
- Proficient in Typescript, Python, Node.js, AWS, CDK/Terraform, Kinesis/Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in architectural leadership, defining standards, and mentoring team members.
- Strong systems thinker, ambitious and self-driven, with a natural hunger for complex problems.
- Ability to untangle complex legacy logic while architecting the future of green tech.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design core systems; be hands-on during implementation, helping service teams bootstrap maintainable, scalable systems.
- Modernize and innovate by transitioning from legacy trade-lifecycle systems to event-driven architectures, integrating practical AI and emerging tech.
- Turn ambiguity into clarity by working across teams to translate complex climate challenges into thoughtful, well-architected solutions.
- Elevate the engineering quality bar by mentoring team members and enhancing the collective knowledge of the organization.
- Champion platform thinking by driving a build once, use everywhere culture, designing shared, reusable services for the trade lifecycle.
