Data Engineer

I have a passion for data and a strong grasp of data engineering paradigms. I bring engineering experience that will help innovate and improve how we build our solutions at Nederlandse Loterij. Data is at the heart of everything we do, processing large volumes using the latest techniques to enable reliable decision-making for teams like marketing, sales, and service, contributing to a data-driven organization. I am part of the Data Engineering team, which builds a data platform to support the organization and facilitate the real-time identification of fraud, anti-money laundering, and potential gambling addictions. This allows me to contribute directly to a happy, healthy, and sporty Netherlands. The Data Management team consists of three teams, and we currently have an open position for the Datalake team, which is building a Big Data & AI platform for internal analytics users utilizing Azure Databricks, Delta Live Tables, Python, and Dbt. As a Data Engineer, I am offered a salary between €4,800 and €6,800 gross a month, depending on my experience, and a full-time position for 40 hours per week. I also benefit from an interesting bonus scheme and can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3.25. Our office in Rijswijk is where I do my work, but I mainly work in a place that best suits what I do.
