56.172 - 80.228 EUR
Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in the field of information technology. You should possess solid knowledge of infrastructure and relevant experience with Java, along with tools like Developer Experience CI/CD, testing in isolation, and building and maintaining pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Maven, or Liberty. We are open to teaching you what you don't know yet. You should understand the importance of uniformity, standardization, and automation. An analytical mindset in the software industry is essential, as is the ability to identify areas for improvement. You must communicate effectively with fellow IT professionals and maintain a balance between speed and quality.
Responsibilities
As a developer platform engineer, you will play a key role in the development of applications that enable us to serve our customers effectively. Your focus will not be on developing the applications themselves, but rather on creating a reliable environment and standardized solutions that empower other developers. Your responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining our implementation pipelines (CI/CD).
- Automating tests and tasks, contributing actively to the development or renewal of tooling.
- Maintaining and standardizing our platform, which consists of AWS services, Java, Jakarta EE, JavaScript, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Maven, Liberty, NPM, and a development toolset for developer laptops.
- Realizing a secure infrastructure and supporting scrum teams with security and performance testing.
- Advising developers on the use of the OHRA platform.
Description
At OHRA, we invest in an inclusive and inspiring work environment, focusing on skills and competence for the future. We offer employee benefits aligned with current and future needs, ensuring our employees can maximize their potential. Our offerings include:
- A salary between €4,686 and €6,694, depending on your knowledge and experience (36 hours).
- A 13th month and holiday allowance paid with your monthly salary.
- 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week, plus one Diversity Day.
- A modern pension administered by BeFrank.
- Plenty of training and learning opportunities.
- An NS Business Card (2nd class) for unlimited travel, including private use; you can also declare travel expenses if you prefer to use personal transport.
- Allowances for setting up your home office and internet use.
You will be part of the Red Service Team, a group of 8 enthusiastic IT professionals managing the OHRA platform, with some focusing on AWS infrastructure and operations. Your colleagues are always looking for ways to improve and are eager to help both developers and each other.
