Requirements
Must:
- More than 2 years of experience in data engineering or computer science related work.
- Experience in making scalable and maintainable applications and understandable frameworks.
- Knowledge of distributed systems: cloud computing, cluster computing.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles (preferably OpenTofu or Terraform).
- Proficiency in Python (required), as we use Python to build data pipelines in the cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of data APIs for specific cloud providers (preferably Azure).
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Structure data from 30,000 active data systems, with 90% available in real time.
- Make data readily available to our organization regarding animal welfare, rations, grazing, reproduction, and robotic performance via our Lely Data Platform.
- Ensure data directly influences the development and operations of robots and day-to-day business on farms worldwide.
- Work hands-on in the product domain of Manure, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts within our growing Competence Center Data & AI.
- Build scalable and reliable data pipelines that reflect best practices.
- Collaborate closely with our local team in Maassluis and partners in Prague and Sofia to enhance your skills and build your career.
