Requirements
Must:
- Around 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including ELT, Lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Experience working with multiple tools and technologies, with the ability to focus on strong engineering principles and data design patterns.
- Experience working with commercial datasets such as: IQVIA One - Key, Veeva Open Data, Veeva CRM, Reltio, 3PL data, Claims data, Digital, Omnichannel, and Precision Lab data.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments, relevant frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and regulated environments (e.g., GxP).
- Experience building or automating data pipelines, infrastructure, or analytics workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data models using modern ELT and distributed processing frameworks.
- Continuously improve performance, efficiency, and reliability across platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
- Develop and maintain data marts, semantic layers, and dashboards that make data accessible and actionable for business users.
- Implement automation, testing, observability, and CI/CD practices to support high-quality and maintainable data solutions.
- Contribute as a hands-on technical expert, helping shape architectural approaches and engineering standards across dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, and BI tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across commercial, analytics, and technology functions to ensure data solutions meet business, regulatory, and operational needs.
