Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Advanced degree would be beneficial
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP consulting, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role
- In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP modules, preferably across several areas (Finance, Procurement, Sales & Distribution, Logistics, etc.)
- Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end SAP solutions
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with cloud solutions (SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in SAP tools like Solution Manager, ABAP, Fiori, and other related technologies
- Strong footprint in SAP technology stack (Business Suite, BTP, BDC, Business AI) + architecture
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines
- Ability to cover for hybrid architectures and changing technologies is required
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP platforms using tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, or others
- Implement and administer MDG solutions to manage master data across different systems, ensuring data consistency and compliance with regulations
- Utilize BDC techniques to automate data entry processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual errors
- Develop and maintain data migration strategies, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation procedures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, often requiring a deep dive into SAP tables and interfaces
- Document data processes and procedures, creating user guides and training materials where necessary
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP data management
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge in data management best practices
