Requirements
Must:
- At least 5+ years of hands-on development experience with algorithmic trading systems
- A solid understanding of financial markets, preferably within energy commodity trading or other short-term trading environments
- Strong software engineering skills in Python, building and operating robust algorithmic trading platforms, data pipelines, and analytics systems with production-grade design, testing, and monitoring
- Familiarity with algorithmic trading workflows, including execution logic, model validation, and post-trade analysis
- A proactive and independent working style, analytical but also hands-on and pragmatic, combined with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and technical optimization of our trading platform, configuring the SaaS solution and building the necessary integrations to fill any gaps
- Monitoring and managing the daily performance of automated trading, working directly with traders to troubleshoot issues and guarantee high-quality execution in live markets
- Building and refining trading workflows and algorithms, proactively adapting our technical setup to meet changing business and market needs
- Implementing and maintaining standards for testing and documentation, taking an active role in keeping the platform reliable, easy to support, and compliant with all trading regulations
