Requirements

Must:
- MSc/PhD in EE, ME, Applied Physics, Systems Engineering or similar - Expertise in 2 areas: cryogenics, quantum hardware, RF, precision mechanical design, thermal engineering - 3+ years experience with complex high-tech systems - Hands-on testing/troubleshooting skills & strong communication - Familiarity with systems engineering practices; customer-facing experience is a plus - Prior customer facing experience

Responsibilities

- Lead system-level design & integration of quantum hardware - Translate requirements into system architectures & specifications - Design and validate electrical, mechanical & thermal interfaces - Coordinate testing, verification & risk management - Support hardware development (cryogenic, RF, mechanical, thermal) - Guide junior engineers and collaborate across R&D, physics & production - Contribute to documentation and product qualification
