Requirements
Must:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Math or something similar.
- At least 6+ years of experience working on optimization algorithms or heuristics.
- Proficient in Python or another algorithm-focused language.
- Passionate about learning and keeping up with the latest in the field.
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Reside in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms that improve Coolblues logistics, such as route planning.
- Write clean, scalable code thats easy to understand.
- Collaborate with Domain, Development, and Operations colleagues.
- Explain complex logic in simple terms to non-tech stakeholders.
- Design and build new features.
- Improve systems step by step without reinventing the wheel.
- Coach team members on technical and soft skills, providing feedback to aid their development.
