Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess strong analytical skills, work accurately, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You should be able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with colleagues from different disciplines. A proactive and inquisitive attitude, along with the willingness to take the initiative, is essential. Additionally, you should have:
- At least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics;
- Experience with PLC programming, preferably in Siemens TIA Portal and/or Allen-Bradley;
- Affinity with or experience in the maritime sector is a strong advantage;
- A driver's license B (for traveling to work locations or commissioning);
- Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
Responsibilities
In the role of PLC Engineer, you will be actively involved in the development of innovative control systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing PLC and HMI control software for industrial applications;
- Testing and commissioning systems;
- Analyzing and solving technical issues, liaising with colleagues from software, hardware, and electrical engineering;
- Contributing ideas for improvements in software and system architecture to continuously optimize processes and performance.
