Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong sense of visual design and a passion for improving user experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects independently. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant completed bachelors or masters degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer for web and/or mobile applications.
- Knowledge and experience with design tools (such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Skills in research methodologies to uncover customer needs and user experiences.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- A good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities
As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Alfen, you will have a vital role in creating attractive and effective UX/UI designs. Your main tasks will include:
- Defining and prioritizing requirements to improve our software designs.
- Actively gathering feedback from internal stakeholders and end users.
- Developing ideas into flowcharts, wireframes, and prototypes up to the final screen design.
- Sharing findings in clear briefings for the development team and providing direction for implementation.
- Coordinating and guiding the development process, making adjustments where needed.
- Working closely with product owners and team leads to evaluate progress and align design choices with fellow UX colleagues.
