Requirements
Must:
- Pursuing a masters degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Interest in both software development and physics or mathematics.
- Familiarity with C# or Java, or motivation to learn C#.
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
- Willingness to relocate if currently studying outside of the Netherlands.
- Non-EU citizens must have university agreement for internship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize and validate requirements.
- Design the architecture for the proposed tool, including software structure and components.
- Develop a test design suitable for integration into our CI/CD pipeline.
- Write and test code in C# to support the tools functionality.
- Explore how ACPD building blocks can be sequenced and connected in the GUI.
- Ensure the tool supports clear communication between physics and software engineers.
- Define the scope of the thesis in collaboration with your ASML mentor.
Description

This masters thesis internship is a minimum of 6 months with at least 5 days per week (3 days on-site), starting in February 2026.
