Requirements
Must:
- Are busy with your masters in statistics, data science or a related field like (applied) physics, engineering or (applied) mathematics.
- Are skilled at programming in MATLAB.
- Are familiar with object oriented design principles.
- Are able to analyze and visualize data.
- Are solution oriented and have a hands-on mentality.
- Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
- Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
- You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship.
- If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
Responsibilities
- Support our engineers in optimizing scanner performance.
- Develop a data analysis tool for reticle alignment parameters.
- Build a database using MATLAB.
- Visualize data in Spotfire dashboards.
- Perform statistical analyses to uncover correlations and propose improvements.
- Document findings and share recommendations.
- Validate the tool with real-world data.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine the solution.
Description
Join ASMLs Image Alignment EUV team and contribute to the future of semiconductor technology. This is a master internship (not suitable for a thesis internship) with a duration of 6 to 9 months, for 4-5 days a week (3 days onsite), starting February 2026 (or earlier).
