Requirements
Must:
- Academic degree/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or an equivalent qualification
- CFA charter or equivalent qualification
- Professional programming and software engineering skills (Python, Databricks, SQL, Power BI or Qlik)
- 4-6 years of relevant developer experience
- Passion for data, technology, and AI in asset management
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English
- Team player with a growth mindset and a focus on results
- Attention to detail and accuracy in software development
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new (prototype) functionality in Python/Databricks/SQL/Power BI for the RI instruments of our clients
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including RI Execution and MultiDisciplinary project teams, to develop prototypes and facilitate the research engine
- Collaborate with Index Solutions to facilitate index construction research and maintain index monitors and revision tooling
- Engage in ad hoc tasks with other IMS teams including Operational Due Diligence, Business Management, and Investment Specialists
- Participate and contribute to the DigiPod community to ensure consistency in technology, working methods, and data governance
- Represent the DigiPod in IT-related meetings with internal stakeholders and work with IT and Data specialists to migrate the intermediate RI data platform to the Data Office
Description
We offer a DigiPod Developer position in the Investment Management Services (IMS) DigiPod, focusing on responsible (index) investing. Our newly introduced Digipods empower Capital Market investment teams to make informed investment decisions while collaborating closely with the Operations department to standardize IT and data. You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement and innovation, with the possibility to work from home 2-3 days per week.
